How Do I Sign Up For Courtesy Pay?
There is no application for this service. Members who have a checking account with Metro Credit Union and qualify, receive this courtesy automatically. Metro will automatically set a specific limit for your checking account. Eligibility requirements apply.
Does This Replace My Line of Credit?
No. If you have established other protection methods, such as a Line of Credit or automatic transfer from your other Metro accounts, we will always pay overdrafts by utilizing those other methods first.
Can I Opt Out Of This Courtesy Pay Program?
An account may be removed from Courtesy Pay protection at the account holder's request. The account will be removed from coverage and any non-sufficient fund items presented on the account will be returned.
